Free Star Wars Printable Multiplication Posters For Fun Math Practice

I think we all remember learning those dreaded multiplication facts in second and third grade. And while it is a necessary part of math, plain old flashcards and worksheets can get a little bit boring for kids to repeatedly practice with after a while.

So, to make this part of math a little bit more fun for my middle child, I made these Star Wars-themed multiplication fact posters and cards!

They're definitely full of color and characters that all Star Wars fans love, but best of all (for us teachers, anyhow) they're full of multiplication facts.

I have included a few different sizes in this set too, from full-page posters to half-page cards and even small pocket-sized cards. You could print all of them out as a complete set, or just the sizes you need. I also love the smaller sized posters for saving on ink and paper.

You could also use these posters digitally, on an iPad, phone, or computer screen. I love to cast my computer screen onto our TV and practice them like that too - and the kids love that!

We have been using the medium-sized posters as a booklet. I laminated all of the pages and bound them, but you could just print them out and staple them as well. We practiced our multiplication this way today by first saying the times' tables on each page out loud, then covering the answers with a piece of paper for practice.

However you decide to use these free posters, I hope you and your little mathematicians enjoy them. Also that they make math at least a little bit more tolerable!

You can download the free posters directly from Google Drive below - no signups or info required ;) Also be sure to check out my free printable Balloon Multiplication Pack Here

Free Printable Multiplication Practice Book

FREE Multiplication Practice Pack

Hello again all! I hope you're all staying healthy and keeping safe. No matter what your current situation, I hope these freebies are helping you just a bit too!

Today I'm sharing a freebie for the older elementary kids, a free printable multiplication book. It has great visuals to help your kids multiply, and has tons and tons of practice too!

I'm pretty sure most of us remember having to memorize multiplication tables in school. I certainly remember standing in front of my third-grade teacher, Mrs. Vamos, while she called each of us up to (quietly) tell her a new times table every week. She would give us a sticker afterward if we improved (even if we struggled) I still remember those darned numbers to this day😂

All that being said, practice is important! It just goes to show how much memorizing things like addition and times tables can help kids later on. Even if it doesn't make perfect (as my very wise third-grade teacher knew!), it certainly can help kids as they move along into older grades. So as my middle daughter is beginning to learn times tables in her own math lessons, I thought this freebie might help some of you as well!

On each page, I've included some 'bits of help' so kids can see visually how to times tables are done. I've included pages for each individual table from 1-12, and also some 'mixed practice' pages for once kids have gotten through studying all the tables.

The mixed review pages include blank spaces for kids to make their own counters.
You could slip it into a page protector or dry erase sheet to make it reusable too! You could also make them into a book or laminate them for extra practice.

If you use them, let me know! I always love to see my resources being used by other families!
Hit me up on Instagram or any of my social channels in the side bar>

Please be sure to share THIS PAGE only and not the direct download link. Thank you!
Reviews are always appreciated!

And be sure to keep following me for more freebies and fun coming up!

Stay healthy all <3 p="">

Free Princess Play And Write Printable Set For Learning And Play

Hello everyone!
I'm really hoping you're all doing well and keeping calm during this crazy time ❤
I know for us it's been a bit of a wild ride, but we're getting through it day by day.

I love seeing how many teachers are putting out freebies and home education packs for kids suddenly forced into learning at home. As a homeschool mom of ten years, I know the first few YEARS of homeschooling with planning are tough, so I can't imagine having to be thrust into it so suddenly.

I have been wanting to put out some freebies I've been working on too to try and help out as best as I can, and I hope you enjoy what I have planned. Today, it's a fun writing freebie for any kids who are into princesses.

Don't forget to check out my Star Wars freebie too! Get it Here!

This princess pack has everything you'll need for your little writers in elementary, and is a lot of fun! I've included 3 levels of writing pages, along with some fun color-in story pictures that can be glued onto the writing pages.

But that's not all! I've also included a fun playset to go with the writing pages that can help keep your kiddo busy for a while and inspire play! It can be set up in a folder as I've set it up. Just print it out, laminate it or cover pieces with clear packing tape, and use some velcro dots or tape to hold the pieces in the folder. You could also use a bag or envelope taped inside to hold pieces.

A great way to incorporate this set into your day would be to have a 'fairy tale' day. You could either read princess stories, watch princess movies, or find some fun princess sing-along videos online.

My six-year-old's finished story. The cool man is the frog 😂

I've also included a whole sheet of play and learning ideas to go along with this pack. It's full of simple ideas you can do at home with little supplies.

I really hope you enjoy this pack as much as we are! Let me know if you love it on social media (see my pages to the side) I'd love to hear about it. You can also send me any suggestions you may have for future freebies!

Please be sure to share this page (not the download link) if you're sharing this freebie!

Free alphabet flashcards with a fun sprinkle theme to use in your classroom, homeschool, or for play learning fun!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that your holidays and family get-togethers went well and you're all rested up now (or recovering!) for 2019!

We're into full swing here enjoying our morning baskets, lessons, and all the snow!

My littlest one is learning to read and already sounding out her CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. We've also been practicing sight words and reading longer books together - her favorites are the Mercer Mayer Little Critter books. But we've also been really enjoying this one by Sally Sutton...

But more about that in another post soon...

But to start off the new year right I wanted to review letter sounds and upper/lowercase lette
rs with her. She sometimes gets her b's and d's confused, and we still need to review letter sounds together sometimes. Especially the whole confusing vowels make 2 sounds bit. So I made these fun and colorful flashcards for us to use - and I'm sharing them with you!

I know there are a lot of printable flashcards out there, but if you've managed to stop by my little corner of the web then I hope you enjoy these! They have colorful "sprinkles" on them, a bright blue frame, and three different colored letter options to choose from - black, blue and pink!

Just scroll down to download...
And remember to subscribe to my blog (in the right sidebar) to get more freebies and fun in the coming weeks. Enjoy!

Lowercase Letters Match: A Free Printable Sensory Bin Christmas Activity

Christmas is just around the corner! Can you believe it? I am seriously in awe of how quickly 2018 has flown by and is coming to an end. We still haven't even started our Christmas shopping, but I have been thinking about Christmas-theme activities for school!

One of my favorite parts of this season is getting the kids excited for it - we take out our Christmas decorations, Christmas books, do crafts and bake cookies. We make cards, shop for others and go to so many family dinners. It's just awesome!

In-between all that, however, I do like to squeeze in some learning at some point! This year I discovered that a lot of homeschoolers do what is called 'Christmas School', where they do Christmas-themed learning activities for all of December. Isn't that amazing?

I really wanted to add some Christmas activities in this year too, so I started out making some activities first, including this fun sensory bin activity game. It's going to be part of a bigger Christmas activity pack, but this activity is free :)

I'm really proud of how far our littlest, A, has come along this year in her reading. She's been reading through CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant words, like CAT) really well! We've also been using a lot of fun activities to learn sight words.

But she still has trouble with mixing up lowercase and uppercase letters sometimes, so that's something I've been wanting to take a step back and focus on. This activity is perfect for that, and it's SO much fun!
You can use any sort of sensory bin you like, or just use no bin at all! 26 Christmas (or pine if you don't celebrate) trees with capital letters are included in this pack as well as a cute winter background scene with matching lowercase letter trees.
We decided to use cotton balls since they look like snow and are so much fun to squish, stretch and make a mess with! In fact, after A finished this activity, she started playing in the bin with her toys too. Well, mostly in the bin - I'm still picking up cotton balls here and there!

As she picked up each tree card out of the bin, I had her say the name of the letter as well as it's sound. She would then find the matching lowercase letter on the background scene. Just scroll down below to grab this freebie on my Teachers Pay Teachers Store - just download it for free! ...

You can get this freebie HERE directly or  HERE in my Teachers Pay Teachers store
And look out for the holiday activity pack I have coming soon! It will include this activity alongside fun centers that teach color names, patterns, sorting and more!

Hope you enjoy!

FREE Worksheet Wednesday: Fall Addition Subtraction Mats

Addition And Subtraction Math Mat Printables

Get your free printable addition and subtraction mats at the end of this post...

We've been having so much fun in our homeschool this year and I am so proud of how well it's going so far! We don't always get "everything" done, but we sure do get a lot of learning in...

One way I have been making our days a bit more fun is by including some math games for the two younger kiddos - my 1st grader and kindergartener. This week I made them this fun Fall-themed Math Mats.

This set comes with four different background scenes and counters. Each scene has an addition mat and a subtraction mat. You can grab the firefly one as a freebie, and Get the whole set here for just $1!

These are the firefly mats (and this weeks freebie! Scroll to the bottom of the page to get it). You start out by writing in numbers on the bottom for your child to use, or your child can write the numbers in themselves. You then add in the counters - in this case, the fireflies - and either add some more or take some away for subtraction.

My girls had so much fun with them last week! They're great for practicing writing numbers too, as my youngest did here. We didn't quite get to adding them yet with her, she just loved counting them out!

It's such a fun way to practice addition and subtraction facts! And you can print out as many counters as you need too. We love to laminate ours for durability. You could also add in some velcro dots if you want the counters to stick on. This is the apple tree mat.

Here is the pumpkin patch mat. They especially love this one - who doesn't love to see some pumpkins in Fall!

And finally, this is the fall leaves mat, where you can add or subtract some pretty fall leaves onto the tree or ground.

If you don't want to use the counters, you could also replace them with play dough, blocks, plastic chips or even a few treats!

You can download the Firefly set for FREE by clicking here!
And you can get the entire set in my TPT store for just $1 here!

FREE Worksheet Wednesday: Pumpkin Number Match 1-20

Free Pumpkin Number Match Game For Preschool and on. A fun way to practice number sense.
**Psst - scroll down for the free download link...

Well, it's finally our first week of school officially this week! I've honestly been preparing all summer for this coming year for many reasons. Mainly it's the first year I'll really be homeschooling 3 kids, and there are so man different levels to think about.

My oldest, MJ, is in high school, while K is in grade 2 (ish) and A is just starting kindergarten. All three of them will be using a certain curriculum that I love called The Good and The Beautiful, but I didn't want to just leap in right away. Especially with the younger ones I wanted to start things out a bit slower and give them some fun learning games and resources to use.

This Pumpkin Match Game 1-20 is one of those things. Made for my youngest, A, it's like playing a fun game, but really gets kids practicing using number sense. That is, matching a number of things to an actual numeral.

And the best part is it doesn't stop at 10 - it goes right up to 20! Plus it has a fun Fall pumpkin theme.

You can choose to print them out and just match them up, or you can cut a slot in them like I did for the pumpkin to go in. It makes it a little extra fun!

You can start by giving your child a wheelbarrow and laying out a few pumpkins - I wouldn't put all 20 out at once since that would be a little overwhelming. I usually put a number out and then put about 5 pumpkins. You can adjust the number of pumpkins to your child's level.

You can go over the number and how to count to it first, or you can just let your child match them all up.

Whatever way you use these pumpkin matching cards, I hope you and yours enjoy them! Download below...

NEW Free Printable Wall Art Poster - Where We Love Is Home!

Well, I loved sharing my printable wall art sign last week and just couldn't wait to share this one with you all too! It features a lovely quote about home:
"Where we love is home. Home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts". -O.W. Holmes, Sr.

Free Printable Letter Matching Worksheets At The Apple Orchard

Pssst - scroll down for the download link!

If there is one thing my kids look forward to every year, it's a trip to the apple orchard we love so much. It's actually a super fun place - there's apple picking obviously, but there's also 3 huge playgrounds, farm animals and a wonderful restaurant (with bar and apple gin included!).

A post shared by Debbie Jean (@debbiejeanmcmullen) on

So when I was trying to think of some fun themes for new worksheets for my youngest, apples were on my mind! She's 4 now and still has a bit of trouble distinguishing between some of the uppercase and lowercase letters, particularly the similar ones like ''b' and 'd' (whyyyyyyy did they make them like that!)

So to help her along I made these Uppercase and Lowercase letter matching sheets with a fun apple orchard theme - and of course, I'm going to share them with you. I'm nice like that.😎

You can print out just the letters your child struggles with a little, or print them all out and go through one per day or week. My daughter loves to color them in first (as you can see, some quite a lot! Also, her arm...) and help to cut them out with her little scissors. After cutting them out, you glue the letters on the appropriate tree - capitals on the capital tree, lowercase on the lowercase tree.

It's simple and requires no prep at all, just print and go! Click on the link below to download.
*And just a note - please feel free to share these free worksheets! But when sharing please link to this page, not the direct download page. Thank You!*
