Relating counting and cardinality is a huge concept to cover in kindergarten and first grade. These worksheets are perfect for practicing those concepts - and so much fun to use too!
Full of fun clipart images your students will love to color and count, they'll have fun learning to count, read, and write their numbers.
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Count to answer "how many?" questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Plus, having the standards printed on every page is a HUGE help when writing reports or keeping track of what you have covered so far for the year. I've found it to be super helpful when making portfolios and seeing where every child is at too - which skills they covered best and which they may need more help with.
